Substance description A mercurial preparation devised by Hahnemann as a substitute for the corrosive mercurial salts in use at the time, and at once adopted in all countries on account of its much milder and more efficacious antisyphilitic qualities. It was prepared by precipitating Mercury from its solution in nitric acid by means of caustic ammonia.Clarke, J.H.
