INNER CHEST AND LUNGS. [28]

Expectoration of purulent matter, offensive in odor and taste and accompanied by pain, referred to third costal cartilage (really in left bronchus); pain may or may not go through to back. ~ Bronchial catarrh. ~ Phthisis.
Useful in third stage of phthisis.
Pain at third left costal cartilage, where it joins with rib; rales through lungs and muco-purulent sputa. ~ Phthisis.
Suppurative processes affecting left lung, with pain at third left costal cartilage.

SENSATIONS. [43]

Pain: in left third costal cartilage.
Intolerable itching: of eruption on hands.

SKIN. [46]

Eruption, especially on backs of hands, itching intolerably at night and bleeding when scratched.
Violent itching.
Skin cracked, bleeding when scratched, with sleeplessness.
