Legatum Homeopathicum

Wednesday 19th, June 2013

Dear subscriber,

those of you using the free version of Mercurius homeopathic software may wish to know that an upgrade has been released. This is a minor update featuring bug fixes and, more importantly, it unlocks the Patient Management System which was not accessible in the previous version. If you find the software useful, you may considering beefing it up with modern Complete Repertory 2013 and many more materia medica – more details at the developer's web site.

Project Remedies has been updated with an addition of 50 new remedy records. Many existing remedies records have been updated and corrected and the remedy name lists have been re-generated – see Official Remedy Name List, Extended Remedy Name List and Complete Remedy Name List.

Project Remedies is an important project that organizes and structures existing homeopathic remedy information – naming, the origin of the substance, taxonomical information, relationships among remedies and reproducibility of the remedy for the purpose of their manufacture and usage. For example, did you know Lac maternum and Lac humanum are both made from human breast milk? Do you know the difference between Tuberculinum and Bacillinum? This is the kind of answers you can expect Project Remedies to provide.

We are working hard to bring you more new great material very soon, so stay tuned and see you again in two weeks.

We consider it an example of how provings should be conducted and the author should be commended for her sacrifice. Compare this effort with the rubbish produced in many modern provings...
